The Youth ceiling is exactly 150cc
The 2026 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship Regulations state that a motorcycle in the Youth category must not exceed 150cc. It is a capacity ceiling, not an instruction that every rider must use a 150cc machine, and the motorcycle must still meet the separate FIM Hard Enduro Technical Regulations.
One rider means one competition motorcycle
The same rule section authorises one machine per rider. That keeps the entered motorcycle central to the complete competition instead of allowing a rider to switch freely between prepared bikes as terrain or conditions change.
Marked parts preserve the machine’s identity
At preliminary examination, the frame’s main section, crankcase and silencer are marked. Those identified parts must remain in their proper place for the final examination. Substituting the original components outside the permitted process is forbidden and can lead to disqualification.
There is a controlled silencer exception
A rider or mechanic may present one motorcycle and one spare silencer. If the original silencer is damaged or deteriorates, it can be replaced without penalty by the spare that was marked during control. The exception is narrow: it does not create permission to replace the frame, crankcase or the complete motorcycle.
What the rule does—and does not—decide
The published rules establish capacity, machine count and component-control boundaries. They do not promise a performance advantage for any engine size or predict which bike will suit a particular event. Euro MX Community records the official limits without turning them into an equipment recommendation.
