A new 250 built around a reversed layout
Fantic’s new XXF 250 uses a reverse cylinder head with a direct, forward-facing intake and a cylinder tilted toward the rear. The stated design goal is tighter mass centralisation and a shorter intake route; those are engineering choices, not a promise that every rider will prefer the resulting feel.
The production bike receives factory-grade hardware
An Akrapovič exhaust is standard, using a titanium silencer and stainless-steel headers. The chassis is an aluminium perimeter frame with an aluminium subframe and swingarm, paired with fully adjustable 48mm KYB forks and a KYB rear shock.
Two maps can be tuned from a phone
The Athena-GET ST39 ECU provides Hard and Soft maps selectable at the handlebar. Both can be customised through Fantic’s WiGET smartphone app. This allows setup changes within the manufacturer’s electronic system without implying that one map is universally faster.
The published numbers put the package in context
Fantic lists a five-speed gearbox, 6.2-litre fuel tank, 970mm seat height and 1475mm wheelbase. Published wet weight is 101kg. Those are manufacturer specifications; Euro MX Community has not substituted independent measurements or added an unverified power figure.
Why the timing matters
Fantic announced the XXF 250 as the major new motocross model in its Evolution Series and targeted dealer availability for November 2026. The model page is now live with the full production specification. Availability and retail price can vary by country, so buyers should use their national Fantic channel for the final local position.
