Factory support aimed below factory level
GASGAS UK has opened its Local Heroes programme for the 2027 season. The manufacturer says the scheme is built for motocross and enduro riders who support local events and keep the grassroots scene moving, from active racers to committed weekend riders.
The confirmed support package
Successful applicants receive a 10% discount on a new GASGAS MY2027 off-road motorcycle and a MOTOREX support package. Selected riders can also be featured through GASGAS UK’s social channels when they share race results, trail rides and other riding updates through the required tagged accounts.
MX, enduro and youth machines are included
The official offer covers adult motocross and adult enduro motorcycles, plus electric and combustion kids’ motocross models. That makes the programme broader than a single race class, although every application remains subject to GASGAS UK approval and availability through a participating authorised dealer.
Applications are open, but places are limited
Registration opened on 27 October 2026 and is handled by local authorised GASGAS dealers. Places are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and the offer can close when the maximum number of supported riders is reached. Euro MX Community therefore records the programme as open at the verified date, not as an unlimited season-long entitlement.
What has not been promised
GASGAS has not named a fixed number of Local Heroes or guaranteed approval to every applicant. This briefing also does not describe the package as a factory race contract. It is a dealer-managed UK support programme with a published discount, product support and a route to manufacturer visibility.
