A new structure for the 2027 championship

The ACU Plews Tyres ExtremeGB Championship will run across five rounds and retain its two-race AM and PM format. RAW Enduro’s Wayne Braybrook continues as series co-ordinator. Although it carries the 2027 title, the championship begins at Hapton on 15 November 2026 before continuing through the winter and spring.

A dedicated women’s class joins the AM race

ExtremeGB is introducing a women’s class within the AM race. The series says this gives female competitors a format matched to different levels of experience and ability. Riders who prefer the tougher programme can still enter the PM race in their own right; the new class does not restrict that choice.

AM and PM routes create a progression path

The AM race keeps alternative routes around the hardest sections, while shorter and more difficult lines offer a risk-and-reward option. Sportsman becomes Sports Class. In the PM race, Championship and Expert riders use the toughest lines, while Club and Vets 35+ receive diversion routes. Clubman is renamed Club Class.

Every result now matters

All five rounds will count towards the final championship standings, with no dropped scores. That makes consistency across the complete winter series decisive. The confirmed calendar opens at Hapton on 15 November, then lists 17 January, Tong on 14 February, Ebbw Vale on 14 March and the final round on 11 April.

What remains to be confirmed

The ACU announcement confirms the format, class structure and dates, but two venues are still unnamed: round two on 17 January and round five on 11 April. Euro MX Community will add those locations only after the federation or organiser publishes them officially.
