A new 250 joins Ducati’s enduro direction

Ducati has previewed the Desmo250 EDS at EICMA 2026 as a new addition to its off-road range. The name and product position are official; Ducati has not yet released a complete technical specification for the motorcycle.

The European launch window is summer 2027

Ducati says the Desmo250 EDS will be available at European dealerships in summer 2027. That is a broad sales window rather than a country-by-country launch date, so Euro MX Community does not assign a specific month or market order.

It follows the larger Desmo450 EDS preview

The manufacturer presented the Desmo250 EDS one year after previewing the Desmo450 EDS, which Ducati describes as its first modern enduro motorcycle. The new 250 therefore expands the direction of the range without replacing the previously shown 450.

EICMA confirms the product, not every detail

The official EICMA announcement confirms the model, its off-road role and the planned European availability period. It does not publish engine output, weight, suspension travel, homologation status, competition programme, price or final market list.

What Euro MX Community will verify next

The next reliable milestones will be a dedicated Ducati specification, confirmed national pricing and exact dealer dates. Until those appear through Ducati or its official European organisations, those details remain open and no performance comparison is made.
