A two-rider KTM UK-backed line-up
KTM UK has confirmed Dylan Walsh alongside Jake Preston in the officially supported Cult JPR KTM team for the 2027 Arenacross British Championship. Walsh will spearhead the programme on KTM machinery, while Preston combines his place in the line-up with the team structure he has built around Cult JPR KTM.
Walsh returns to race in Britain
Walsh arrives from international supercross competition and is set to make his British Arenacross debut in February. KTM’s announcement points to his fourth place in the premier SX1 standings of the 2025 Australian Supercross Championship and his experience racing in Australia and the United States.
Six rounds in three arenas
The championship consists of back-to-back nights in three cities. Birmingham’s bp pulse LIVE hosts rounds one and two on 6–7 February, the O2 Arena in Belfast follows on 12–13 February, and P&J LIVE in Aberdeen closes the series on 26–27 February. The organisers list a £150,000 championship prize fund.
KTM connects the team to Dirt Bike Live
KTM UK will also attend Dirt Bike Live alongside the opening Birmingham weekend. The daytime show and evening Arenacross programme share the bp pulse LIVE venue, giving the manufacturer a product and community presence in addition to its support for the race team.
What is official — and what is not added
The rider pairing, KTM UK support, six dates and three venues are confirmed by the manufacturer-backed announcement carried by the ACU. This briefing does not predict results or add further riders to the senior line-up without a direct official statement.
